What we collect
We collect personal data only when you contact us through the enquiry form: your full name, company (optional), work email, phone (optional), the subject you ask us to check, and your message. If you subscribe through the Knowledge Hub, we use your email address only to send those updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We run no advertising cookies on this site. We use Google Analytics to measure, in aggregate, how the site is used - see the cookies section below.
Third-party information in your enquiry
The “who or what to check” field and your message may contain personal information about another person. Please provide such information only where you are lawfully entitled to do so, and only what is necessary for your enquiry.
Why we use it
We use your details solely to handle and respond to your enquiry, on the basis of your consent (the checkbox you tick when submitting the form). We will not use your details for marketing without your separate, explicit consent.
Who processes your data
Enquiries reach us through Web3Forms, our form-processing provider. The site is hosted on Vercel. Fonts are currently served via Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address for that purpose. We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) for aggregate usage statistics; Google may receive your IP address and set the cookies described below. We do not sell your data or share it other than as described here.
Cookies and local storage
Besides one functional item that stores your chosen language, this site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies (such as _ga) to distinguish visitors and measure, in aggregate, how the site is used - which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from and how they found us. We use this for site statistics only, not for advertising. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); the site works normally without them.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period thereafter - up to 24 months - after which it is deleted, unless a longer period is required by law.
Data security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls.
Your rights
Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law, including Amendment 13, you may ask to review, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Contact us at info@profcheck.co. You may also lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.
